At Media Pros, we create spaces for our community to learn experience new tech through innovative activations, to learn about media production and gain professional experience, while having fun with young creatives by providing access to high-end equipment. Through Media Pros, adults are able to share meaningful experiences, and students are able to connect with like-minded mentors from around Louisville’s creative side to envision many new paths forward.

To give our community access and exposure to fun new tech that helps Louisville stay tech-fresh in an ever-changing world.
We will transform the venue to fit the Hideaway look and include a “teleportation” activation along with high-tech step-and-repeat at the entrance to make an unforgettable first impression, while growing the social media presence for both the event and the event space.

Upcoming Storytellers will provide hands-on training and mentorship opportunities for Louisville area high school students interested in storytelling and media.
Participants will learn directly from experienced professionals, gaining invaluable insights into the use of equipment, conducting interviews, and creating podcasts.
Workshops will be conducted by Roots 101 faculty, with a curriculum focused on providing historical context and cultural inclusivity.

Celebrate the spring session and preview what’s to come
This exciting pilot program took place at four different Boys & Girls Club of Kentuckiana (BGCKY) locations around the city with nearly 40 students participating. Each group worked with mentors from the community to create a unique media project, spanning from commercials to podcasts.
Media Pros Productions invites the public to join an open house event and showcase that will feature a recap of the program’s spring session held at four Boys and Girls Club locations around the city, providing attendees a glimpse into the activities and projects students have been working on.
