LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Travis Scott has been selling out shows all across the country on his latest Utopia-Circus Maximus Tour. On Friday, the hip-hop artist announced that he will kick off the second leg of his tour in Louisville.
Scott will be performing at the KFC Yum! Center on Tuesday, January 3, 2024. Tickets are already on sale.
Louisville is one of only 11 cities announced for the second leg of the tour.
According to a news release, $2 from every ticket sold will go to non-profit Cactus Jack Foundation, which uplifts Houston youth through toy drives, scholarship programs to HBCU college students, and fulfilling expenses for education and creative endeavors.
“UTOPIA finds Travis Scott at the height of his powers as a performer, songwriter, producer, and collaborator proving once again that nobody sounds like Travis,” the release said. “It continues to enshrine him as the culture’s foremost sonic innovator and has been heralded as ‘album of the decade.’”
Officials said Scott’s UTOPIA remained at number one on the Billboard Top 200 for four consecutive weeks and has gained over 2.7 billion streams globally to date.
On Friday, Scott received a GRAMMY nomination for “Best Rap Album”. The 2024 GRAMMY® Awards will be held on Sunday, Feb. 4, 2024.
